The 6th International Conference of Palaeogeography will be held in Nanjing, China (May 17–20, 2024), and the second circular of the conference was released in December 2023. To satisfy the requests from many intended participants to allow more time to prepare abstracts, the Organizing Committee of the conference has decided to postpone the deadline for abstract submission to March 31, 2024. All the intended participants are suggested to access the conference website (https://www.isp2022.org/en/conferences/) timely to submit abstracts and pay the registration fee.

The 6th International Conference of Palaeogeography will issue “Best Oral Presentation” and “Best Poster Presentation” awards for participating students, which will be presented at the closing ceremony of the conference on May 20, 2024.

These awards are restricted to graduate students and undergraduates only. Those participants already engaged in the "Best Papers by Young Scientists" program are not eligible to take part in the competition for the “Best Oral Presentation” and “Best Poster Presentation” awards. The evaluation will be carried out by an ad hoc "Best Presentation" Nomination Committee and the convenors of the relevant academic sessions. The “Best Oral Presentation” evaluation will base mainly on the scientific importance of presentation, the depth of the research, the innovativeness, as well as the presenter's ability to introduce studies and answer questions. The "Best Poster Presentation" evaluation will focus on the layout of scientific content and the overall visual effect of the posters.
